Hi, I'm Julie! (You can call me Jules...) I was born and raised in the Deep South in 1981, right in the heart of the shoe department, natch. I call myself a fashion and beauty expert, and I think it comes into play every time I put on my fancy lip gloss and suede pumps. It's also why I started this blog in May 2008. I. heart. heels. (um, especially the Jessica Simpson pair above!) After a brief stint as an ASME intern in NYC at Seventeen and a former beauty editor for a regional home magazine, I now scour the country (and nearest grocery store in town!) for the cutest ways to wear all of my favorite shoes and clothing (hello, Barneys). As I like to say, squeal!!!!

P.S. Let's add babies to Balenciaga! I had my first bundle of joy in December 2009, and have found my new love for pacy's along with peep-toes. ;) Which means every Wednesday is a Whiny Wednesday around here.
