How to....Layer!

While I'm not necessarily a fan her of personal choices (ahem, Balthazar Getty), I absolutely, completely love Sienna Miller's style choices. The girl could turn anything (even a bedsheet!) into something that's unexpected and off-the-cuff, but so chic and sophisticated you're clamoring to find out how you can create it yourself.

Today's lesson? Layering. Sienna's the ultimate layering guru. She loves to wear flat boots over jeans or pants - and that's one of my favorite trends too. To do this, of course you must buy some type of straight leg jean or pant. A long sweater or top layered over a cami works well, then add a shrunken blazer to really take it up a notch. Shrunken is the key because even though you're wearing menswear, you still want to come off as the feminine belle you are. Top it all off with great accessories: gloves (fingerless!), a scarf in a contrasting, bold color and a matching fedora, and you're set to walk the streets (c'mon, not in that way!).

Layering is an art and it's very tricky. Make sure to use different lengths, silhouttes and colors to contrast and you're on your own way to effortless chic!
