Cheryl Burke On All Things Style

Ok, we must admit it right now. We’ve never been so addicted to Dancing with the Stars as we have this season. We love Cheryl Burke and her fancy moves (and we can’t say her partner Gilles Marini from Sex and the City fame is too bad, either, sigh…). So, the other day we had the chance to catch up with Cheryl in between dance routines and ask her how everything in her world is going – including her style favs and new fitness line – read up!

On Dancing
We work closely with the wardrobe department and Emmy Award-winning costume designer to design each costume that we wear to the specific style of the dance and the song that we do each week. It’s one of my favorite parts of Dancing with the Stars. (ours, too!)

On Heels
Definitely heels. While heels make some people’s feet hurt, since I’ve been in heels since I was 11, flats cause my feet to ache.

On Her New Fitness Line
The line launched on March 9 and is called Cheryl Burke by Fit Couture available at Fitcouture.com. There are nine different pieces in the line right now and I describe it as activewear. It’s clothing that can go from the gym to out and about running errands and looks super cute in any environment.

On Beauty
I love Avon Skin so Soft and Sexy Hair products.

On Her Own Style
I’m not really a fashionista, but I love to be stylish. I wear more dresses than jeans, but I’m not hung up on things having to be a label that everyone is dying over this moment. The one thing I am in love with right now is my new YSL bag that I got for Christmas. I LOVE it because it’s big and roomy and fits all my junk in it – and I still have room for my dance shoes!
