Trend Alert! Red Tights

Ok, I completely HEART this outfit Carrie Underwood wore on Good Morning America this week - big squeal! I've always been a huge fan of colored tights - you could see me on the picket line chanting, tight, tights! No bares legs should be shown in the cold air and pantyhose are way 1980s (c'mon, you know you wore them at some point!). I have my favorite pair of purple tights that I lived in at NY Fashion Week. But, I had seriously debated what other hues I was willing to try. So next up for me? Red!

These red tights completely make the outfit (could these be Spanx, perhaps?). If you're not sure about them for the office (they can't be any louder than purple, right?), wear them with a slightly longer skirt and knee-high boots, so only a peek of red is showing. Carrie always looks so chic, I'm such a huge fan of this fellow Southern girl (are you reading stylist, Trish?); she's so pulled together. The nipping at the waist on the coat is very flattering, and wearing the rest of the same color with those tights was a smart move. The focus here is all on the legs - and those gorgeous studded booties are to.die.for. Agree?
