Still in Love with Faux Fur
Since NY Fashion Week in Feb., I’ve had a serious infatuation with faux fur, especially vests. Then, a month later, I got pregnant and the rest is history. No faux fur for me this season (lest I risk looking like a big baboon). While I’m no longer pregnant, I def won’t be slipping into the trend this winter, but these earmuffs ($68)? I must have!
And because I can’t slip into this vest ($368), I want you to. Ever had that friend or relative who never liked anything they brought in the dressing room, but they always tried to convince you to buy everything you brought in with you? That’s right, in this instance, I’m living vicariously through you, chicettes.
Imposter is a new, super-chic (and animal-friendly!) line comprised of all faux fur, manufactured in France and dubbed “luxury without compromise.” Animal-lover Jaclyn Sharp started it all, and proceeds always go towards various animal welfare organizations. (Which makes me happy because I, owner of Ted the Cat, am a huge lover myself.)
Earmuffs were already on my “to-buy” list for the New Year, so I might just have to check them off with these. And the vest? You should def buy it to wear with the skinniest jeans you have (jeggings?). But, I’m not trying to talk you into it or anything – wink, wink.
