Whiny Wednesday: Nursing Chic
If you didn’t notice, Whiny Wednesday took a vacay last week for NY Fashion Week (no crying allowed), but today we’re back on again. Chic mamas rejoice! I want to tell you about a couple of new mom products out there that are both practical and chic (gasp!).
The day I went into labor, I was sporting none other than my navy Juicy Couture tracksuit (yes, some say they’re hideous; I say they’re comfy as can be). And because I knew I would need quick access from now on (if ya know what I mean), underneath the hoodie, I wore my Bravado Essential Nursing Bra Tank ($45) (given to me to try out by the super-nice PR folks at Bravado) in the newest color addition to the line, dark plum (perfect for fall). I already live in the nursing bra by Bravado, and the tank is no different. It took me a few tries to get the hang of the nursing clips (this was my first nursing tank after all!), but once I did I couldn’t get over how easy and convenient it was (and is!) to wear. Something all you mamas might like, too, is the range of sizes – it comes in a 32 band size and goes all the way to a G cup. Whoa, mama.
Something else you might think about using is a nursing cover by Bebe au Lait. If you’re like me, more often than not, you won’t wanna nurse in a crowd or in front of too many folks (that’s just uncomfortable to me?), but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. These covers come in the cutest line-up of prints – ever. I was gifted the shrine aqua for baby C. (who is a whopping 10 weeks now – can’t you believe?!), and I must admit it does look good with my wardrobe. And don’t worry – it has a rigid neckline so there is still ventilation and you can make eye contact with your baby. But, most of all, you’re all covered up and still the chic mama you always are. -xoxo

That's a really nice and comfy-looking top. Thanks for the recommendations!
