Foldable Flip-Flops? Genius!
Ok, let’s get this straight. If you’re going to be prancing all around town in your peeptoes, your feet are bound to hurt at some point (D. hates me for this because I always complain, ha!). When I worked at Seventeen in NYC, I always carried ballet flats in my handbag for this very purpose (I learned my lesson very quickly from not doing this, by the way). Well, I found something so cool that makes toting an extra pair of soles soooo much easier! They’re called FlexFlops. They simply fold in half and fit in a matching carrying case. Genius! And there are so many design options it makes shopping tons of fun (and if you’re like me, making up your mind so hard!)! Naturally, when we stumbled upon the “I Heart Shoes” version ($24.95), we just had to have them – the matching rhinestone bag is so us!
Example? I had a speaking “engagement” out of town last week, wore my yellow peeptoes and packed these in my bag. After I was finished, I changed into these and breathed a sigh of relief. Something else I’ve come to find out? Wearing these around the house makes for the best house shoe ev-er – the terry cloth fabric is uber-comfy.
