The Little Black Dress Experiment Tours America
Squeal! I’m right in the heart of Fayetteville, Arkansas (Goooooo Razorbacks!) with the debut of my little black dress by Ann Taylor, as part of The Little Black Dress Experiment Tours America. Since I’m all about casual chic for fall, I decided to throw on a pair of dark indigo jeggings by Elie Tahari with my LBD. I just shortened the hem a bit and voila – an instant tunic! I love the streamlined look of dark on dark hues; add a pair of black suede heels by BCBGeneration and the look becomes even sleeker (it’s one of my favorite tricks, ya know).
Accessories always up the chic ante, and I fell in love with this gray infinity scarf by Donni Charm. You can wear it soooo many ways, but I chose to wear it exactly how it arrived – in one long piece! My favorite black and white circle earrings from Banana Republic reiterate the roundness of both the scarf and heels, and my studded stretch bracelet by Lia Sophia and black/gold watch by Michele add instant glam. The red bag by Fossil is the perfect pop of color to the otherwise dark-hued outfit – ideal for a shopping trip around town or lunch with friends, but especially perfect for one of my personal pastimes, a Razorback game!
P.S. In honor of The Little Black Dress Experiment Tours America, Ann Taylor is extending I Heart Heels readers a 20-percent discount for all purchases of $100 or more. Click here and save 20 percent on your next Ann Taylor purchase!!!
