Every year, I get a little bit closer to hippie, haha. I've been trying to eat (along with baby C.) much more organically, shopping at Whole Foods, wearing more organic clothing (think lots of Loomstate) and even watching the chemicals I put on my body (body wash, shampoo, make-up). The Spring/Summer collection by vintage label What Goes Around Comes Around is very hippie-inspired - and I like it! Hippie chic.
Bohemian scarf prints, indigo patchwork (from a turn-of-the-century quilt!), silk peasant dresses and crochet vests - in soft hues of blush, floral, green blue and beige - are symbolic of the collection. I can't get enough of the super-cool embroidery on the peasant tops and all of the cutaway details on the tops and dresses. It's all in the details, folks. Peace, love and happy vintage shopping!
P.S. Find it at Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Shopbop.com, Fred Segal, Ron Herman, Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford, Isetan, Scoop and other top specialty stores worldwide.
