Rock On
This shoe…oh, this shoe. It’s got me having chills down my spine. Oy! The brand UES is typically a pretty casual shoe line (and I’m much dressier), but, wow, this shoe! It’s called the Forsyth wedge ($335; in black snakeskin) and it couldn’t be more rocker chic. The sharp studs make this a pretty sassy pair of kicks – for the fierce fashionista, indeed. I love the way it zips so easily down the front, and, of course, wedges are the hottest shoe of the season. Does it surprise you at all that Avril Lavigne owns a pair of these? When it comes to style, I’m no Avril, but these are def bringing out the inner rocker girl in me…Bon Jovi concert anyone?

Cute but I could never see myself paying $300 for what is basically a wedge sneaker. I mean for that type of money you could buy a really kick ass pair of heels that will still be in your closet ten years down the line.

I guess it depends on your lifestyle. 😉 Coming from a mom, nowadays I can afford the height, but not the topsy-turviness of the stiletto. Those are saved for special occasions. 😉
