Wanted: My New Favorite Riding Boots

Hey, chicettes! Special personal style post today – get excited, I know. And guess what? I’m NOT wearing heels – gasp! Ok, ok. These riding boots by Wanted, DO have a one-inch heel. That counts! No, really. Any bit of height helps elongate your figure – it’s better than a completely flat sole any day. After Wanted offered to send me a pair of shoes to try out (um, hello, couldn’t resist!), I literally browsed the site for hours trying to pick out my favs. Why? Because they have an insane amount of good-looking boots for every day. You know…those boots you throw on with denim leggings and go?

I couldn’t decide on black/brown, details/no details, and then, of course, there was the size issue. I wear a size 6 – eek! I finally got it all worked out (one can never have enough black! They do have a really pretty tan hue, too, though.), and when they arrived I was so freaking excited. I decided on the Regal ($69.99), and these are incredibly comfy and they fit my wider calves. (In fact, the site says they run a size large, but my size 6 seems to work great since my calves are wider.) There is no zipper, no detail, nothing – and that’s how I like it. Simple as can be! That way I can jazz up the rest of the outfit, and let the boots be a closet staple.

* Cape tee by LNA (my new go-to tee, I love wearing it with a black tank underneath with the strap showing!)
* Denim leggings gifted by Vintage Revolution (I tweeted this earlier, but these “jeggings” were comfy the minute I put them on – and that’s even before the first wash – gasp! Also, love how skinny the legs are so boots fit like a glove.)
* Embellished cuff by alice + olivia (it has two snap settings, and some days I wear it tight, while others I let it loose. It’s so pretty and goes with almost anything in my closet.)
* Faux fur vest by Eight Sixty (previously featured…bought at the Piperlime pop-up shop in Soho.)
