New Year's Eve is fast approaching...do you have your dress? I think I've mentioned this in the past, but NYE used to be my BIG night of the year. Every year we would go somewhere out of town - whether it was NYC or the Big D. (that's Dallas for all you non-southerners). This year I am rather happy to say (and surprised I am) we will be resorting to watching the ball on TV. Hey, you never know, I just might put on my heels to do it.
For all of your with BIG plans like those of mine in the past, NYE is the night to get all gussied up and pretty (one reason I love it!). Of course, you can opt for color, but black and sparkly is my tried and true. White House Black Market is one of my go-to little shops for all things - duh - black and white. (I've been wearing a pair of bow heels I bought there for about five years now!) I couldn't resist showing you this strapless ruched hem dress ($178). An LBD doesn't have to just be an LBD, folks. Have fun with it! You want to be classic, but you want to stand out, too. This one does the trick - dontcha think?
And one of my fav pieces is this ombre sequin chemise ($128). I LOVE it so much! This is the the dress I might buy if I were going out (gosh, I sound so old and boring!). (Pair it with subtle heels, obvi.) But alas, you kids have fun, all right? Make me proud in your best LBDs, sequins and heels!
