How I Wore My Heels…to L’s Baby Shower

It seems as if something is in the water – one of my best friends from college, L., is pregnant…and so is my older sister and one of my best friends from high school. And celebville? Kate Hudson, Alicia Silverstone and about a million more. I’m happy to just be me, D. and little C. for now (ahem, mom if you’re reading), but L. had a baby shower just the other day, and it felt good to wear my heels. I was going for the cliche “casual chic” this time, and fell in l-o-v-e with my new Matiko boots.

Here’s how I wore my heels:
** Distressed denim jacket by Gap (I found this 1969 jacket on the sale rack…they had JUST put them out – $35!)
** Long-sleeve dress by BCBG Max Azria (this was a Fashion Week staple for me…so freaking comfortable.)
** Purple beaded necklace from local shop, Indigo
** Leggings by Alternative Apparel (these have to be the softest, most comfy leggings known to woman…found them on a beach trip, so approp)
** Heels gifted by Matiko (style: Naamah…available on DNAFootwear.com!) (you should really check out this shoe brand because it’s beyond…love how these boots fold over to make cuffs!)
