Carol’s Daughter Tui Herbal Shampoo
I know, y’all, it’s been for-ever and a slingback since I’ve posted a beauty product review that wasn’t for my little one. Hello, priorities change, right? I’m so lucky to get a nice, long relaxing bath these days. I take a lot of showers, instead, and my new fav shampoo was sent to me by Carol’s Daughter. I’m not just saying this – I love it! The Tui Herbal Shampoo ($12.50) and my hair were absolutely meant to be. Love at first lather – for real. It’s a moisturizing shampoo that smells amazing (lavender, rose, calendula, nettle and red clover…think the tropics!). And I know you’re going to think Oh no, here she goes again, but really I chose Carol’s Daughter because of how good it is for you. Harsh chemicals can actually do more damage to your hair than good, and there are no parabens, petroleum, mineral oil or artificial color. There’s also a leave-in conditioner, but I haven’t tried it. If it’s anything like the shampoo though, your hair will thank you.
P.S. I have naturally wavy hair and actually have to blowdry it with a round brush for it to be stick-straight. So, I thought I would try the Hair Milk Shampoo/Conditioner ($9-19) – I even tried the Curl Definer. I thought it was the cutest packaging ever and worked fine, but now that I notice the product page, I definitely think the Hair Milk Lite (for more wavy hair, and not curly) would do the trick better. Gorgeous waves, here I come…
