Levi’s® Curve ID – What’s Your Curve?
*Images coming soon – be right back!
Happy Monday, fellow chicsters! Hope you enjoyed watching the Oscars red carpet as much as I did – whew, now I’m ready to slip into my jeans. Haha. Luckily, with my job as a part-time blogger/full-time mom (and shopper), I have the chance to wear jeans almost all the time. Seriously, it’s great. Because, for one, I love to wear jeans. They always make your heels look that much better! Have you seen all of the ads lately for the new Levi’s® Curve ID line? Yep, Levi’s is getting chicer (and more flattering) every day. With the latest addition of the “Supreme Curve” (the curviest!), there are now four curves to choose from according to your body type.
I love this “fit chart” Levi’s provided me – it’s very helpful in deciding your fit:
Slight Curve – designed to celebrate straight figures
Slight Curve is designed to define a woman’s waist, while accentuating her curves. If jeans fit in the hips and thighs but are too tight in the waist, a woman should try the Slight Curve.
Demi Curve – designed to fit even proportions
Demi Curve is designed to flatter a woman’s waist, while smoothing her shape. If jeans usually fit in the waist, but don’t flatter the figure, a woman should try the Demi Curve.
Bold Curve – designed to honor genuine curves
Bold Curve is designed to hug the waist, without gapping or pulling. If jeans fit in the hips and thighs, but gap in the back, a woman should try the Bold Curve.
NEW! Supreme Curve – designed for the curviest woman (only available in select markets) Supreme Curve is designed to sit lower in the front and higher in the back for coverage that truly enhances the shape of a curvy body. If jeans fit in the hips but the waist is too low in the back, a woman should try the Supreme Curve.
The jeans I’m wearing are the Bold Curve in Skinny (they also come in Straight and Boot cut, Modern or Classic rise and many, many washes), and were provided to me by Levi’s. I totally heart the distressed little details at the pockets and around the ankles, and the slightly darker wash is beautiful and flattering. The length on these skinnies is absolutely perfect to wear with any shoe in my closet, which is a major bonus (I have so many!), although my only suggestion would be a slightly longer inseam (they are just a tad too short in this area. What do you think – would you try a pair? Check out the Levi’s photo shoot here.
P.S. I thought this old shed around my parent’s neck of the woods was pretty cool – a change from my normal sidewalk shots. The last photo is of a pair of gifted Lia Sophia earrings I got in September at Fashion Week – I absolutely heart them. Tee is by Splendid, wedges are by Seychelles (a fav brand of mine) – and the purse designer is unknown, but from a fav local shop of mine, Masons.
