L’Oreal Paris Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look
I’m interrupting our regularly scheduled Whiny Wednesday to share this exciting new haircolor just released by L’Oreal – called L’Oreal Paris Sublime Mousse by Healthy Look. It’s a permanent, conditioning mousse (love this word!) haircolor. The best part (ok, parts)? It’s actually natural looking, easy to apply and it doesn’t have a harsh fragrance.
While I don’t color my hair personally, I had my mother-in-law (who is a haircolor aficionado and lover of all things L’Oreal) just recently try it out – in Pure Black, no less. Not for the faint of heart, folks. Ms. A. needs haircolor on a regular basis to cover a tiny, tiny (I’m not even trying to butter her up, here, really) spot of gray – especially since she has jet-black hair.
Did you know 89-percent of colors fear a fake-looking color result or making a mistake? (this is based on a 2009 L’Oreal Paris Haircolor Incidence Study) Ms. A. swears you need not worry about this product because it definitely came out natural on her raven locks. (The mousse formula is micro-aerated to expand around every strand, causing these results!) The other plus was the ease of use – a major benefit. It uses a foaming pump, so it’s quick, doesn’t drip (eek!) and you don’t have to go through that parting and sectioning mess. Yep, she loved that. Ms. A. told me it was pretty much the same as applying shampoo, if that gives you an idea. And the color? It didn’t look brassy at all (which black can sometimes do) – she even felt a little, perhaps, young again? Hey, you said it Ms. A., not me. Wink, wink.
Wanna see how to apply it yourself? Here’s a great way to see for yourself how easy it is to apply – watch the application video here!
