Matt & Nat is Vegan Chic

I had no idea that handbag line Matt & Nat was “environmentally friendly.” Such news to me – great news, no? Friday is Earth Day, so get ready. It truly excites me how many brand out there are so Earth-conscious nowadays and want to help the planet. Matt & Nat’s bags are so, so beautiful, I guess I just never thought it possible to have a handbag so chic and “green.”

I looooove the black-trimmed IKAT bag above ($165). Can you believe the trim is made from recycled bottles? That is so incredibly cool. The company is actually donating $21 with each purchase of the three IKAT styles to charity water, which provides safe drinking water to those in developing nations. It’s a limited-edition bag (until April 25!), so you better to get shopping!

P.S. Olivia Wilde hearts Matt & Nat, too! She was recently spotted at LAX (must’ve been hard to part with it through security…) carrying the studded Axel style below (which must be discontinued because I can’t find it online!). It was created out of 21 recycled bottles. Hooray for vegan chic! 🙂
