Ruthie Davis is MAD about Fashion (and heels, obvi)
Ruthie Davis: A fabulous heel is one that makes a woman feel confident and powerful and sizzling hot! A great pair of heels should almost become like a part of a woman’s body – her foundation. A great heel is not an accessory – it’s a body part!
IHH: Which heels did you wear to the premiere last week (pictured above)?
RD: My new Spring 2012 Pandora mary-jane pumps in navy. They have a six-inch heel and two-inch platform with a pointy sculpted shape. Love them! I actually initially designed them for Dennis Basso’s Spring 2012 fashion show, but loved them so much that I had to put them in my line.

IHH: What did you love most about being on the show MAD Fashion?
RD: I loved the people involved in the show and the humor! Chris and his team are totally amazing. I think it’s a rare experience to be surrounded by such totally original, creative people. It’s refreshing to immerse yourself in an environment where everyone is perpetually thinking outside of the box. I like an environment where I’m allowed and encouraged to dream big!
IHH: What makes you so “mad” about fashion (in a good way, of course!)?
RD: I’ve always been inspired by fashion and style. I think that embracing the “extraordinary” in the form of a fabulous dress, or a killer pair of heels, really allows a woman to touch the divine. There’s some sort of unexplainable feeling of being alive that one gets when they feel strong, confident and sexy in great fashion.
