These Timberland Boots Were Made for Walking
It’s officially boot season, y’all. Let’s clap our hands in unison, shall we? I personally love to slip on a nice pair of boots with a pair of jeans or leggings topped with a comfy sweater and head out the door…that’s part of what makes fall/winter so great to me! This time, though, (and since it’s still nearly 90 degrees down south!) I decided to slip on my Timberland Earthkeepers® Rudston boots ($220) with a dress – you don’t say!
I’ve had these boots for a couple of months now (courtesy of Timberland/Glam Media) and I’ve definitely worn them with jeans…in the rain. Why? Because these boots are actually waterproof, and I must admit, most of my heels aren’t. Eek. Some of my other fav features?
They’re pull-on (easy on and off is a must with my boots!), breathable (the boots I wore yesterday weren’t and I could tell a huge difference) and actually have a manageable heel for everyday jaunts around town. Plus, can you believe they’re eco friendly? Yep, hence the name “Earthkeepers.” That nice, breathable lining is actually made from recycled plastic bottles, the outsole is made from 15-percent recycled rubber and the leather was even tanned in an eco-friendly facility.
Anti-fatigue technology is also a great feature because that means you can stand in them much longer during the day with this added support and shock absorption. (ahem, a must for those long fashion week days, indeed)
I can’t say enough about how cute Timberland’s new boots are for fall – you’re going to LOVE them and LIVE in them. Ta-ta for now…xo
