Christian Louboutin 20th Anniversary & Book Launch Party at Barneys New York

The rock star designer behind the ultimately coveted red sole, Christian Louboutin, is celebrating his 20th year in the industry with a book fit for his adoring fans. Barneys New York held a fabulous affair for his New York launch on the fourth floor of their Madison Avenue store. Filled to the brim with guests wearing his famous designs and sprinkled with celebrities like Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Blake Lively, Producer Swizz Beats and Tyrese, style was at an all-time high.
Amongst the books (and beautiful guests) were shoes on display and walls with magnified glasses. A peek into the glasses gave a moment inside the Louboutin world. A sketch, a swatch of fabric with notes, a standout starlet in an early design, were the significant stills that told the story of the past 20 years. If you wanted to take those magnificent moments with you (as I did!), then buying the regal book with its gilded edges, soft leather cover and weight of a hefty eight pounds was a must! The sultan of the stiletto was ultra sweet and chatted with guests and christened books, where even his signature was enough to make a girl weak in the knees.
Meeting an icon and adding a major collection of masterpieces to the fashion library, hearting heels never felt so good.
