The inspiration behind Jill Stuart's fall 2012 collection was something dark and magical. Using dark colors and rich textures, JS created looks that were on point with the vampy trend we've seen from other designers for fall. The usually bright and colorful designer chose to darken up her fall collection, and let me tell you, it got everyone talking!
Prints, floral-embroidered lace, leather platform booties and rich berry tones brought this collection to life as it came down the runway. And a sheer dress with jewels on it? I mean, I just can't get over the amazing design of those pieces!!! Even though the collection was dark and mysterious, there was still this fabulous femininity and innocence to the looks. Talk about talented! To be able to pull of edgy femininity is something few designers can do. This is definitely a collection to check out if you want to step outside your comfort zone a little. Go grab Jill Stuart's fall collection (yes, all of it) as soon as it hits stores next fall. I know I have my eye on it!
