The Easiest Way to Send a Card

The app is free (which is important to me) and only takes seconds to download (I mean, it’s as quick as a wink! Sorry, couldn’t resist). So earlier this week, I decided to give it a whirl and lo and behold, I became hooked on this quirky, fun-loving app. I started my search with D.’s card since his birthday is Sunday, and I used the “categories” to find my card. It was easy because they have it separated into “birthdays” and even “funny birthdays,” then “for the guys.” Once I found the one I liked, I uploaded a photo from my phone’s photo album and typed in a quick message. My fav part? It allows you to “sign” the card with your very own signature. Hey, it’s the little things.
So once I finished, I was wooed by the fact that I could send D. the actual card in the mail…squeal!!! I’m such a sucker, I know. But, I thought he might appreciate a bit of paper – he is sorta old-fashioned (the guy doesn’t even own a smartphone…le sigh…). The card was only $2.99 and I didn’t have to buy a stamp (plus). I received an email that it’s on the way and I can’t wait to see it (and for D. to see it!). Um, hope he’s not reading this…
Then just yesterday I found my mother a card for her birthday on Monday. I knew she would be fine with something less traditional (and would prob rather forget her birthday), so I went with a digital email version for her. Same thing…went to categories, then “for the fam,” chose a cute photo, wrote a sweet message and signed it. Then I emailed it to her, and boom! I’m so done with my card “shopping.”
P.S. There was also an option for texting the card, for those of you even less traditional. Amazing what we can do these days, right??
