TATCHA Makes My Skin Happy
I have to say my skin has been cooperating way beyond belief lately. And it’s def a testament that if you work hard at something, you’ll get the results. See, my skin’s been very junior-highish most of my life – into adulthood. I’ve fought it with tears, trying to give myself a little boost in self-confidence for just one week out of the month. The worst was when I was pregnant with little C. My hormones were on fire, and I couldn’t use any products to help!
So glad that bit’s over with, folks. And now on to radiant skin. As of late, I’ve been using TATCHA and it makes me joyous. Since it’s been smoldering hot here the past, oh, three months, I’ve been using the Original Aburatorigami blotting sheets ($12) about as often as I frequent the shoe department (often). Major beauty editors rave of them, and to be honest, I don’t know how I got by before. They’re fragrance-free/power-free, so they don’t mess up your make-up, just remove excess oil. Dab, dab, dab. So magic! I need a lifetime supply.
Another product I received to try out is the Moisture Rich Silk Cream ($150). This bottle of amazingness doesn’t feel heavy at all; in fact, it does feel like pure silk. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now and as you can see, my skin is happy. (Um, probably because this stuff has no parabens, sulfates or any of the yucky stuff.) It’s also an anti-ager, so I’m hoping to keep that youthful persona I spoke of last week. Wink.
P.S. Cool fact? TATCHA is inspired by ancient Geisha skincare traditions and just recently added skincare to the line of signature blotting papers. The line is available exclusively at Barneys, online at Tatcha.com, and in a variety of boutique retailers around the world.
