Whiny Wednesday: My Precious Pumpkin

Happy Halloween! Ok, so if you could see my precious little C. in this lil’ pumpkin costume you would 100-percent swoon. He. looks. adorable. But you know my policy of no photos or names (he didn’t choose to write a blog, I did…yada, yada…), so you’re going to have to trust me on this one. We found this costume last year (for just $14.99!) at our local TJMaxx (in a 3T…he wore a 2T at the time) and kept it near and dear in case he bailed on wearing the spider (which was “non-TJMaxx” and cost $40…ouch). Begrudgingly, he did wear the spider last year, but this year? He’s sooooo all about wearing this pumpkin! Mama=happy.

Today at “school,” all the kids wore their costumes and little C. kept his on all morning…made me laugh to show up to get him and he was still wearing that silly spiral “stem” hat (below). Cutest little pumpkin ever. Under it, I just put him in a black tee and black athletic pants, so really this costume was a cinch…since the pumpkin itself slips on like a piece of clothing would. 

This little boy is obsessed with pumpkins (in a good way!), so we really hit the nail on the head with this costume. It makes me so excited to trick-or-treat tonight. Maybe more than he is?! 

P.S. I’ll be donning my annual red foam nose a la Rudolph…all the kids get a kick out of it. And, no, you won’t be seeing photos of that either. Wink.
