Braided and Knotted for Spring
I looooove jewelry that looks like no other, and Ariela Suster’s Sequence line is a fav of mine. The pieces def reflect her El Savadorean roots – it’s all true craftsmanship and it shows in the fine details. Hand-threaded, woven and beaded, I love every bit of the spring collection just as I did fall. (In fact, Sarah’s attending a special shopping event in NY next week for the jewelry line… have to say I wish I could be in her shoes on this one!)
I don’t think I’ve ever really grown up because the idea of wearing friendship bracelets still excites me (I was a champ at making them from yarn, by the way. I know, I know, not the same as here, but still.). Right now, leather on anything is super hot, so I love how Ariela incorporated it into her bracelet designs – the ones shown here are the Twisted Knot and Leather Bracelets ($48). The colors will be great for spring…and you can layer them with the friendship bracelets she designs as well. I don’t think the trend of layering millions of bracelets will ever go away…at least, I hope not!
While the line offers some great hairpieces (so completely boho), I’m also in love with the Braided Necklaces from the upcoming spring collection. They’re so eye-catching and pair really well with spring’s lightweight tees and jeans. Add one of these and you’re good to go! I can’t take my eyes off the green. Which one’s your fav?
