Whiny Wednesday: Crocs Forever

I'm having fits over these new Crocs sent to little C. and his mama, eek! This house is never without several pairs of Crocs because we love them truly. They're just a great, great spring/summer shoe and so easy to slip on and off for those kiddos. It's a no-brainer here (we. want. easy.). We've actually just shed the tennis shoes for the season (which means we've shed the socks...southern loving...), and now it's a matter of which Crocs should little C. wear today...blue or orange?

While he does own a nice low-key pair of navy blue classic Crocs (which, FYI, seem to run slightly smaller although still "true to size"), his fav pair has quickly become this orange Crocband version ($31.99). OMG. I should get "mom of the year" because I completely surprised him with this fav color a few weeks ago after we had searched every store for a pair in this very color and his size to no avail. Apparently this is the orange pair of Crocs, folks! And you can get it at Crocs.com - if you're lucky enough to have a lil' guy (or girl) nuts about the color like mine. He wore them to a birthday party down the street a couple of weeks ago, and they were the talk of the party...they're def a conversation starter. And to my surprise, the bold color has grown on me. They look pretty awesome with his other fav color, blue. Now I've got the entire rest of the summer to come up with as many blue and orange combos as I can. :)

P.S. These new Sexi Flip sandals are gonna be in my beach bag soon...whatcha think? Such a nice alternative to regular flip-flops, I love this t-strap design. (although slightly different than the usual t-straps I'm used to wearing...wink.) They're well worth the $29.99 for the way they mold to your feet for a comfy, cushiony fit. It comes in four colors, but I chose the "island green." Super fun and plenty comfy...now I can chase little C. around and around in the sand and still look cute. ;)
