I get so many pitches that I honestly just don’t have the time to post everything that comes across my inbox here (and I’m not saying that in an annoying, I‘m so cool tone, but a truthful tone…as in I really do choose my favorites!). When I saw these wooden watches (made from 100-percent natural wood), I fell in love and thought they were so unique and interesting. I mean, do you? They’re from a maker called JORD, based in St. Louis, Missouri. And while they make several styles of watches, I adore the classic Ely series. Elegant with a small face is exactly what I look for in a watch, personally.
This one here is the Maple and retails for $129. It’s one of those statement pieces that’s subdued, but still says so much. It has a hardened, scratch-proof glass face, and even though it’s wood, it’s splash-proof, so no worries there. (Although it’s definitely not meant to be submerged in water, so leave it behind when traipsing to the pool!) This watch is so lightweight and comfortable, it’s an awesome everyday watch. Not to mention, this lighter maple color of wood goes with every, single outfit in the closet (major bonus!). Dare I say wood is the new metallic?

LOVE this idea!!!! I love wooden-anything to be honest! And I just lost my watch…so this would be PERFECT!!! I've never won anything – so this would make my day! 🙂 It looks adorable.

I loved the cherry! It has a rich feel and cherry wood has always been a favorite of mine. These watches are fantastic!
