Whiny Wednesday: Mother’s Day Cuties…What They Wore
I hope all you mamas had an amazing Mother’s Day, and if you’re not a mama, I hope you were able to spend it with yours. I was lucky enough to spend my beloved weekend with not only my husband and kids, but my mama, sister and her kids. We had the best time because the weather was incredible! It’s not often we can all get together, so when we can, it’s such a blessing.
We started our morning as a family at church and little C. wore his new pediped Sydney sandals (shown above…and not little C’s feet). I would’ve had a nice shot of him wearing them with his cute outfit, but the little guy’s so on the run, he was in and out of them and barefoot in the sprinklers before you could say pediped. Nevertheless, we (and I say we because both he and I) LOVE these shoes. They’re the perfect summer sandal! I love the fisherman style especially and how they’re actually nice compared to many of his more casual shoes, ahem. But even though they’re nice, they’re still comfy with a Memory Foam sole. And they’re easy because they have Velcro! Wanna know how I know these are a hit? He doesn’t complain to wear them! 🙂 In fact, they’re not just dubbed his “church shoes” anymore, they’re just his sandals. And that makes me soooo happy because I adore them! Thanks, pediped.

Now ready to see what the little lady wore? Swoon. I must admit, it’s way too fun dressing her, and I knew it would be! This spring Daisy Crochet Pinafore and Bloomer Set by Mud Pie just might be my fav thing in her closet right now (and trust me, she has a lot!). This 0-6 month set is perfect because she can wear it now and grow into it, so we’ll get lots of use out of it. I just adore the pink and green hues – so bright and cheery – but the crochet design is just so eye-catching and pretty. The back is just adorable because it has a criss-cross design – so she’s chic from front to back. 😉 But the icing on the cake is the dainty pom pom trim on the bloomers. Can you say OMG one thousand times?? (Everyone who saw her this weekend sure did!) Mud Pie, we heart you.
P.S. Those are glittery bow shoes (which every girl needs) I found at Marshall’s. They’re Espirit, one of my fav childhood brands. 🙂
