Whiny Wednesday: Matching Hanna Jams
Call me crazy, but since I was a newly married 20-something without kids, I’ve dreamed of one day dressing my dumplings in matching Hanna Andersson Christmas PJs. It would be one of those silly traditions lots of families start…the same ol’ thing, yet, our own. It would be our family celebrating my fav holiday of the year, circled around the tree in the living room.
It makes me sappy because really they’re just silly ol’ (very nice, organic) PJs with an ugly Christmas sweater party look to them, no less. But when I put them on baby L and little C I’m reminded of just how far our little family has come. I think about the setbacks and the sleepless nights, but also the pure joy and how lucky we are. It’s our first holiday season as a family of four and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve built. Being a parent sure as heck isn’t easy (and I respect my own now more than ever), but we sure try.
I hope our home feels cozy and loving and safe to our kids. And maybe every year they might enjoy getting their new set of snuggly “Hanna jams.” (This is the Dear Deer pattern…) I hope we can always be close, our new family of four. And I can’t wait to share the rest of life with these cuties…holiday after after, season after season. I’m living a charmed life, indeed.
P.S. Now though the end of the year, share your photo tagged #HannaJams and you might win a $100 gift card for your own family PJs! Thanks Hanna Andersson for sending us ours…we’re making wonderful memories.
