Whiny Wednesday: Organic Chic
Swoon, swoon and swoon. Mamas, I can’t even express to you how much I adore this label. I discovered Go Gently Baby, an organic baby and kids clothing line produced in L.A., while I was baby thing shopping last year in a quaint store in Dallas. I had just found out it was a
girl, and everything in the shop was on. sale. You can imagine all the squeals here! I
scooped up the sweetest little pieces from this line (including a chic cap sleeve top), and was excited knowing all of them were 100-percent organic and the best for my sweet one. Fast forward a year later and I stumbled upon the cutest little bird romper at my fav consignment store in town. Eek.
So when Go Gently Baby offered to send these fall pieces for baby L, I couldn’t wait to see what the collection was about because I knew it would be gorgeous. My fav piece is the gray floral Harper dress ($44) because it’s such a pretty print…and my fav color scheme is pink and grey (thus, her nursery), so I just add pink tights with it! What’s cool is even the ink is water based. (And, here, she also demonstrates how much she hearts my new Chewbeads…did I mention she’s cutting her first tooth?!)
In the bottom photo, she’s wearing the sweet french terry “flower sac” dress ($59), and it really looks like something I would wear! I like to put her in this dress on the days I wear my sweatshirt dress because it looks like her own mini version. So adorable, really. I love the sac-like fit, and kinda wish mine fit this way.
The brand has a ton of harem pants, too, just like baby L wears in the larger photo. I. Love. Baby harem pants. If I have too many skinny jeans in my closet, she has too many pairs of harem pants. Blush. They’re just too major to resist. And here they’re paired with the Oval Script tee ($39). This tee is very versatile because I slip it on her with these pants as well as skirts all the time. And the dainty bow makes it even sweeter.
Ahhhhh, if I could order every piece from Go Gently Baby (hearts! polka dots! glitter print…oh my!), I certainly would. Someone stop me…
