How I Wore My Heels: Valentine’s Day
Ankle booties will never go away, and call it “cheating” in the heels department, but when you’re a new mom (hey, she turns one this week! can I still claim the new mom title??), it still counts. And ankle booties will be your new BFF if you’re a girl on the go who still desperately wants to be chic. Ankle booties with rolled-up distressed jeans (these by Paper Denim) are the epitome of chic. I won’t use the word effortless here (because it did take me some bit of effort to dress with baby on the floor next to me…buuuuuut, ya catch my drift…)
With it being Valentine’s Day week, I thought I’d go all cheesy on you and don my fav Wildfox tee ever. I bought it at Bloomies while in New York and it’s quickly become a closet fav. The entire line is amazing for us chic mamas because it’s so liveable and so, so soft. And when in doubt, throw a button-down around your waist. Bonus points for chambray or plaid.
Step Up the Accessories
And when you’re going for a tee and jeans look, step up the accessories (we all know the Alberto Fermani booties I’m wearing are a fav). I’m obsessed with my new Kooba Angela bag (give me a giant oversized leather bag and squeallllll, I get excited!), and this studded bracelet from Noma is a new staple. (Get one yourself at 50-percent off with the code IHEARTHEELS50!)
I hope you all have a chic week! Meanwhile I’m still planning a first birthday party and can’t wait to share with you! Ohhhh, and fashion week is this week. Stay tuned for coverage from our correspondents M. and C. Air kisses xoxo
