Whiny Wednesday: Ralph Lauren for Easter
It’s outfits like these I tell myself, c’mon, Julie, just go ahead and show the kid! But then I restrain myself and realize you can still see the cuteness. Not alllll of the cuteness (goodness), but it’s in the outfit.
Ralph Lauren was kind enough to allow us to borrow this amazing get-up for Easter last weekend, and I must say I was pretty darn sad to see that linen coat go. I mean, little C looked beyond words adorable. We’re talking squeezable…lovable…huggable.
It’s the first time I’ve seen him in a jacket, and I loved the lightweight linen. I’m not kidding when I tell you he loved it. He didn’t balk at one single, bit of it. Ok, I’m lying. He balked at the bowtie…but that’s beside the point! He has this thing with buttoning his shirt too high, and I had to explain to him that too many unbuttons was def unapprop. Haha.
He did love how he could wear shorts, and I think they worked nicely with this look (and our southern weather!). The green checked shirt was amazing with little C’s hair color. He sized up a bit on all of the pieces, but there was room and I think it all runs pretty true to size.
So now can I get an OMG on that bowtie, please?! Maybe it wasn’t his fav part, but it sure was mine. Swoon. Ralph Lauren, you sure know how to dress them.
