I love a good eco-friendly product, especially when it comes to eating (because it seems we spend 90-percent of our time doing this in our household.). So you can imagine the mama squeals when I found out about the brand
Re-Play, which is all made from recycled milk jugs! (And made in the USA!)
Sure, the second kid means you relax a little and don't sweat the small stuff. I admit I wouldn't dare serve little C's food on a public restaurant table (and shuddered at the thought) and now find myself relaxing a bit with baby L and not stressing if I don't have a portable placemat. Other things like organic food and BPA-free dinnerware? Non negotiable. It just wouldn't be right.
Re-Play has us covered, too. They carry everything from utensils and sippy (and open drink) cups to divided plates, bowls and snack stacks, ranging in price from $4.99-7.99. Not bad at all, right?
We have all bright pink and purple, but the products come in so many fun colors! It's really a hard decision. We especially love the divided plate because the deep sides are great for messy eaters (ummmm got one of those!). I've also found it's super easy to put it all out on one plate like this rather than having to fetch individual bowls for everything (and less dishes). It's all dishwasher safe and tested for safety. I kinda wish I could pop the plate in the microwave, but I just use it for a lot of fruit snacks like cut-up blueberries, bananas and Annie's gluten-free bunnies, shown here. It's perfect!
Now we're currently trying to master the utensils. She loves being big and attempting this, but I shudder at the mess. Next week? Splat mat.
