Would you please look at these capes? You might wanna sit down for this. I mean, TGICS (thank goodness it's cape season).
Rebecca Minkoff is a talented designer who knows the key to every commander in chic's heart. (met her in 2011 in NY and she was every bit as lovely as her peeptoes)
But really. A good cape never, ever goes out of style. There is a good balance of portraying frumpy versus fashionable. See exhibit A and B here. Hold. Me. Back.
The Reversible Warhol Cape above retails for $898. And omigosh it's got me written all over it. Too bad my peeptoe budget went over this month or I would so be scooping this up. Ummm holiday fund starts...now. I just adore the tribal-inspired pattern and the gorgeous deep hues. And, hello, reversible.
But really the Getty Cape below is just as much my style. I'm such a sucker for muted tones and this flares our just perfectly. It's got that whole Sienna Miller I-woke-up-like-this-vibe and I think it's incredible. Bravo RM for putting the A in amazing in fall outerwear this season.
