Pencil Skirts Steal the Show

Isn't Katie (or Kate, as Tom calls her) one hot mama? I must admit I've never been much of a Katie Holmes fan, but this outfit screams fashionista all over it. (I'll overlook the fact that she's worn the plaid button-down several times recently. Hey, I'm guilty of repeats!) The focus here is the stunning pencil skirt. This is a trend I've been reluctant about for awhile. You know how you weren't sure to buy a pair of white jeans? Same with me with the pencil skirt. Katie's tall, thin and look at those gams! Needless to say, I must try this look immediately. Heels are a must here - you don't want to look dumpy. And I love the way the strictly business style of the button-down and cardigan pair with the sex-kitten look of the skirt and heels (Louboutins no less!). Secret tip: Nude heels always, always make your legs look long and fab. Try it!
