NY Fashion Week Spring 2010: Bobbi Brown for Tibi
Tibi was full of color and happiness for the S/S collection, and I loved it! Nothing safe or boring here, but instead, lots of pops of color and silky bias-cut dresses with spaghetti straps. When I think of spring, this is what I think of, and you? I’m crushing on this red and pink floaty dress shown here – my heart be still.
To contrast the simplicity of the designs, the make-up by Bobbi Brown was bold – an electric pink eye with hints of yellow and green! (Using the Bobbi Brights Palette, which I love!) Daring, indeed.
Skin: Hydrating Face Cream ($50), Hydrating Eye Cream ($45), Foundation Stick ($40), Creamy Concealer ($22), Corrector ($22)
Eyes:* Bright yellow eye shadow under brow and bright pink coral on lid (Bobbi Brights Palette); Black Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner on top lid ($21), bright green liner along bottom lash line (Bobbi Brights Palette); multiple layers of Extreme Party Mascara ($22) on top and bottom lashes
*To recreate this runway look in reality, use a softer pink eye shadow, like Baby Pink ($22) on eyes, and Long-Wear Gel Liner in Black Ink or Black Plum Ink ($22)
Cheeks: Coral Pot Rouge (Spring ’10, $22), placed high on cheek bone
Lips: Nude
Brows: Softly defined
