My name means "youthful one" and I've always been oh-so-proud of that. It's always seemed to hold true (hey, I still get carded and walk around the house singing Tina Turner songs, don't tell me I'm not youthful!). It's hard to feel youthful when you're pregnant though, no? I mean, my name will soon be m-o-m. Scary!
The past few weeks, I've been trying out La Mer's new Hydrating Facial. OMG. Celebs all over are all about the infamous Creme de la Mer face cream, and this hydrator might wind up being just as famous. Dryness. Fine lines. Dark spots. Gone! And it's in the form of a two-zoned (upper/lower) mask for easy application (there are six for $250 - ouch, I know).
You'll want to smooth and press into place, applying the upper zone and then the lower. Leave it on for eight minutes (I tried mine out before bed - relaxing) before you remove it. The ingredients are derived from plant algae, which means your complexion is clearer, more even and, you guessed it, youthful. The mask is super-soft, but trust me, your husband will make fun of you. (Doesn't even compare to my alfalfa hair sprout when I clip back my bangs at night. Did I just reveal that?) Hey, it's youthful, right?
P.S. You can find these at lamer.com or Saks, Neimans and Bergdorf, of course. - xoxo
