NY Fashion Week F/W 2010: Lacoste
Lacoste was bright (literally!) and early his morning, and we’ re always such big fans of the cute little gator clothing (I seriously horde these polos and tanks on the left side of my closet). This collection was no exception using color to brighten the sea of black that flanked the chicettes in the audience. G. was glad to cover this one as Lacoste is her fav brand of all time (she even wears the perfume!), and it was her first trip to the actual Tent (the largest of the three spaces used for shows at Bryant Park). Too bad it will be her last since this was the last season to show at Bryant Park. Sob.
Some of the trends we spotted and are loving? Sweater leggings (yes, please!) that open at the bottom to fit perfectly over boots – in all colors, of course. Lots of layering. And, drumroll, the side ponytail. So 80s chic – come fall, won’t you totally rock these trends? We’ll gladly be “that” girl! (raising our hand…)
P.S. I must have the sporty pullover in the bottom photo – don’t you just love?
P.P.S. Did we mention we’re not really sporty (what’s a serve again?)? We just love to look that way…
