NY Fashion Week F/W 2010: Lela Rose
Yesterday morning, we had the lovely pleasure of attending the Lela Rose show. This was our second time to cover the line, and it’s always one of our favorites here at I Heart Heels. Again, I couldn’t make it, but was so glad when correspondent/fellow shoe lover extraordinaire E. of Fabulous Soles said she could be there for us. She went nuts over the heels! This is Lela’s 13th (!) collection with Payless – can you believe it? Her shoes are proof you can still look fab for less.
If you want girly, you’ve got it. Lela’s famous for her uber-fem designs, and this season was no different. Some of her most stunning pieces this season were the last couple of looks sent down the runway – full-length, one-shoulder Grecian goddess gowns in a beautiful metallic shimmer used throughout the collection. We fell in love with some of the cutest sheath dresses around as well as prints inspired by landscapes of her recent trip to the Galapagos Islands, but all of the shimmer def got us antsy for our next cocktail party. Hello, Lela Rose, we’ve got your number!
