NY Fashion Week F/W 2010: Rebecca Taylor
While we couldn’t actually get inside the Rebecca Taylor show this season (the show was “at capacity”), we couldn’t help but post our favorite looks from the fall collection. After all, we were flattered to even be invited and she’s one of our absolute fav designers. While not a huge fan of animal prints, we love how she brought it into this collection with the coat (and doesn’t it look fierce on a redhead?)! The soft, billowing neutral-toned look above is Rebecca Taylor at her finest, and we just can’t get over this stunning green trench. So classic and chic! And with a subdued palette of mostly taupes, navys and blacks, the unexpected pop of ice blue at the end made us giddy with delight. The cropped and ruffled leather jacket in this last look was by far our favorite!
P.S. Short platform booties have popped up everywhere on the runway this season, so you’ll need a pair, but over the knee boots as seen at RT’s show are still here to stay. Whew – we love em!
