Whiny Wednesday: Mama C.’s Family Car (Sponsored Post)
Greetings, fellow chic mamas! (That’s how my daughter greets you all, right?) In case you’re wondering, she asked me (aka Mama C.) to write a “guest post” this week and next (please don’t roll your eyes). See, I don’t know about you, but we’re a big vacation family. Huge! Every summer, we take a road trip to the beach. It’s about a 10-hour drive, and it’s definitely a bonding experience for all of us (you like how I put that so nicely?). Besides our trips to the beach, our family loves to take road trips in general – how else can you shop at all of your favorite stores if you don’t travel a few miles, no? (Yep, we’re a big shopping family, too!)
This is where my Toyota Camry comes into play. Love this ride (as my daughter might say). I love (or “heart” – ok, am I trying too hard here?) the great gas mileage. It gets about 31 miles per gallon on the highway, which is most of what we drive. It rides so smooth there’s no trouble sneaking a nap, and it’s extra roomy (including the trunk) for millions of shopping bags (oh yeah, and people!). I really like when it’s cold out (which isn’t much of the year around our town), how fast the heater warms the car, and the electric seats are a luxury I just couldn’t do without. You know what? After two years of driving my Camry, I have put 78,000 miles on the car and it hasn’t needed any (none!) maintenance.
So I guess what I’m trying to say is this: the Toyota Camry is a great family car, period. Trips to the beach, trips to the mall and trips with baby C., of course. Tell your own Toyota story by visiting Facebook.
Until next week…
P.S. By “sponsored post,” I mean I actually made a few bucks from Mama C. writing this particular post (I know, I owe Mama C. on this one, right?). It in no way, shape or form discredits Mama C.’s true love for her Toyota Camry (that’s just not possible…).
