Robert Verdi’s Luxe Lounge: Fashion Weekend Retreat
Saturday was a loooong day of shows, and so I needed a break! I went straight to (Eva Longoria’s) stylist Robert Verdi’s Luxe Lab Fashion Weekend Retreat. You may have seen I Heart Heels participating in these Twitter parties, and this is where they are held via satellite. Robert himself was there when I showed up, but left before I could snap his fab photo. I am excited I finally got to meet him at the tents (just before I ran over to his retreat, no less).
Now I know why they call it a “luxe” lab. This place is a-mazing. I sat immediately on one of the super-plush sofas (as I watched others get chair massages in front of the HUGE Panasonic TV (see directly below). If I would’ve had more time, I would’ve sat down for a few for either a manicure from Ginger & Liz or an Elizabeth Arden blowout, but, as always during Fashion Week, time was of the essence. Felt good to relax for the moment I did, though. Sigh.
The kitchen is amazing and I had some yummy type of couscous.
Vintage Revolution is a brand-new denim line launched just this fall (it literally landed in Bloomie’s like a few weeks ago!), with brand president Michael Press (formerly of Earnest Sewn, Paige Premium and AG Jeans, hello). I brought home some skinnies, and I am looooving them. Look at all of the new spring colors!
I fell in love with these studded bracelets by Linea Pelle (they make amazing wallets and handbags, too).
On our way out, we took the complimentary Mercedes-Benz shuttle back to Lincoln Center. Beats a taxi any day!
