On the Red Carpet at the FFANY Shoes on Sale/QVC Gala
I was beyond thrilled to be invited to last night’s FFANY Shoes on Sale Gala, presented by QVC and to benefit breast cancer research. What a great pair (no pun intended!) – great shoes and a great cause.
By the way, FFANY stands for Fashion Footwear Association of New York and this was their 17th annual (!) shoe benefit. Remember those heels by Fergie I showed you the other day? This is the same sale that happens for everyone on QVC on Friday, 6-9 p.m. central.
Last night, tons of celebs walked the red carpet from the gorgeous Angie Harmon (really, who can pull off a ponytail like that? And check out her Louboutins below!) to the always-glamorous Ivanka Trump, flamboyant Johnny Weir (he told M. he was a huge Rachel Zoe fan, ha!), and even the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Guests mingled and shopped in the Designer Shoe Salon while Chaka Khan performed. Sidney Kimmel, the founder of Jones Apparel Group, and Ronald A. Fromm, CEO of Brown Shoe Company were presented humanitarian awards, dubbed as the FFANY Jodi Fisher Humanitarian Award (Jodi founded this shoe event, and passed away in 2009 of leukemia.).
