Is it possible for something to be described as high fashion and sportswear at the same time? It is when you refer to the collaboration from Lacoste and Catherine Malandrino. I was surprised at this unique match-up - I look to Lacoste for pieces that are casual but also give me that "put-together" look... with their signature touch of prep, of course! I look to Catherine Malandrino for feminine pieces that reach the core of my inner fashionista. However, I was told by reps for both brands, working together was an organic combination. After I was able to view the collection I couldn't agree more - this was a natural partnership. The perfect piques we have grown to know and love by Lacoste get a remix on silhouettes like body-con dresses with cowl
necks and floor-length sheer maxis with refined collars. Fashion-forward details like buttons on shoulders and sporty harem pants are like a note on the garments that says "Malandrino was here." The presentation at the Cooper Square Hotel was a divine way to celebrate
a fresh collection for the new season!
P.S. We think the double crocodile logo is absolutely genius and the cutest logo we've seen yet!
