I've been on the hunt for the perfect tunic for quite some time now. I won't name names, but some of the brands I've searched for in past seasons just never did it for me. They all made me look - gasp! - too old. No bueno aqui (translation=not good here). So when I saw the tunic Anne Hathaway wore in Rio this week, I squealed so hard! It's the Joie A La Plage Collie Cover-Up Tunic ($178), and I want it to be mine, ALL mine. (oops, I shouldn't be telling you about it then, huh?) It's actually almost sold out online already.
It comes in both a red and black print, and I'm pretty sure I would wear either because the pattern is so subtle. It's 100-percent cotton, semi-sheer (perfect bathing suit cover-up!) with a flattering (ruched!) empire waist. Yep, chicettes, it's pure perfection. It even has metal paillettes along the v-neck. Shut the front door, I can't take it. This is the one.
