Layering and wrapping is oh-so-chic, and it's great for those chilly spring/summer nights, but warm days. That's what the label Brochu Walker is all about - pieces you can wear alone or together with items you already have in your closet. The color palette is full of earthy, neutral tones (right up my alley!), so that makes every piece that more versatile. Think crisp cottons, warm cashmeres, soft knits and rumpled wovens. Heart. it. all.
Designers Lisa Brochu (who loves tailored menswear-inspired pieces with bold accessories) and Lauren Walker (lover of all things beachy and bohemian with a downtown edge) are L.A.-via-East Coast-transplants. I can't wait to keep watching these two because this summer collection is way fun and fresh. Belted dresses, drapey tanks and oversized cardis? Yes, yes and YES! Dreaming of my beach escape in a few weeks...right. about. now.
