Oh my word, I can't get enough of this outfit. Swoon. Oh yeah, happy Monday, by the way! Hope you had a great weekend. This photo of Leighton Meester actually inspired me to wear my sun hat all day Saturday, despite the very, cloudy weather. While it didn't help bring on the sunshine (boooo!), it did make me feel awesome. Don't you just love that about fashion? I love how you can put on a great pair of shoes or a hat and instantly feel better about yourself.
The tank also inspired me because I bought this amazing linen tank at the beach earlier last month, and it pairs great with my hat (more to come on it, I promise!) just as Leighton styles her outfit here. Her tank is the "Cupcake" tank ($90) by Riller & Fount. I love the soft draping, and I'm such a sucker for a flattering v-neck. It's made of mostly modal cotton, too, which s to the o-f-t! Since it flows so pretty, pair the drapey hemline with a pair of skinny jeans and heels as Leighton does here. Oh, yes, and your sun hat! Maybe it will brighten your day like it did mine.
