DKNY Fall Ad Campaign = Gorgeous
*Images returning soon – be right back!
Simply put, a great fashion ad campaign should make you want to buy the clothes. The DKNY Fall 2011 ad campaign makes me want to literally buy all of it. Four words: I. heart. it. all. The mix of red and magenta is so chic, the shearling coats make me long for colder weather and the tailored jackets instantly make the top of my “must-have” list for the upcoming season. My eye is on that tweed jacket – whoa. DKNY always does it right – just the perfect amount of downtown cool mixed with uptown luxe.
Of course, the New York backdrop can’t help but make everything absolutely gorgeous with each season, but this campaign lends a new perspective with an emphasis on the architecture (the Empire State Building in the foreground is stunning), with more individuality and personality. In case you’re wondering the shot above is on 5th Avenue (between 26th and 27th), the shot below is Park Avenue and 67th and the last shot is Water Street (between Broad and Coenties Slip).
I try to imagine being one of these “DKNY” girls cooly walking down the street in head-to-toe DKNY chicness (does it count I’m in my DKNY PJs typing this? I think not…). This all definitely makes me excited for my upcoming trip to Fashion Week. Not to mention, I’m pretty convinced I’ll be going back to my blunt, fringe bangs. DKNY, you’re inspiring in more ways than one.
