Design Your Own Jewelry with Sheyna
I know it’s Labor Day weekend, but I couldn’t help but spread the word on this super-cool do-it-yourself jewelry site I came across last month. It’s called Sheyna – and I just love it! Just by clicking here, you can shop among 5,000 existing pieces designed by cool kids like you…or you can design your own! And that’s what I did. I have to admit, I was a little scared (and there were so many options to look at, I couldn’t decide!), but I finally decided to go with simple and chose this tribute to my little C. A delicate “c” charm with his turquoise birthstone next to it. The gold chain it hangs from is really nice, too. I can tell it’s very sturdy and the clasp is really easy to handle, which is a plus. Call me cheesy, but I’m taking this with me to NY this week (even if I don’t wear it, a part of little C. will be with me…sniff).
Sheyna also sneaked in a couple of sterling silver wrap bracelets in black and brown (I’m wearing the black one here – my fav)…I love wearing it so simple and alone, but these look absolutely amazing layered with tons of other bracelets (as blogger Man Repeller calls it, an “arm party”). What I also love about the company is everything is handmade by a skilled artisan (they’re working hard on your pieces!) and it ships for free. Also, while you’re designing your piece, it calculates the price as you go…pieces range from $5-5,000 (like, whoa). The last photo shows the cute little pouch your piece of jewelry comes in upon arrival…I couldn’t help but squeal. So handy, and a lovely touch. Ready to design something now?
P.S. Happy Labor Day, chicettes! I can’t wait to report to you this week from Neeeeeew York! xoxo
