Alexandre Birman Python Pumps on Gossip Girl
Anyone watch Gossip Girl Tuesday night? It seems if I’m on Twitter during that time, there’s nothing else in my timeline but #GG tweets. But, alas, I’m just not a fan (which makes me feel downright old, but whatever). I do, however, love reading about what the characters wore, and this week character Beatrice Grimaldi wore a sweet little pair of gold cutout python pumps by Alexandre Birman. I can hardly stand the gorgeousness. Obviously these aren’t everyday shoes (c’mon, most of us don’t live in a Gossip Girl world, and if you do, you should def rock these babies 24/7), but I would wear these with lots of black (or even chocolate brown or navy) because I looooove the contrast of metallics (especially gold) with darker hues. It’s so eye-catching (ok, like the shoes aren’t already, but hey)! Let’s make a pact and wear gold python pumps at least once a month, ok? I’m having fun dreaming this up already…
P.S. The dress is DVF! But, of course.
